Be mindful when you grind metal. Also, be mindful of where the fans are blowing when someone else is grinding metal.
I was wearing safety specs when this happened. Someone else was grinding down some metal parts, I was looking away at what I was working on, and the fans blew a metal flake he was grinding under my specs and into my eye.
One eye doctor visit later.
Didn’t need an eye patch but I got one anyway.
